Over the last few days, the Sunshine State has hardly lived up to its name. Since Friday morning, I have seen perhaps a collective two hours of sunshine, and I have loved every second of it. In fact, I hope it never stops. Because for me, rainy days mean easy mornings. Crawling back under the quilt with an oversized mug of English breakfast tea and binge watching Parenthood. Browsing new blogs and following new Instagram feeds. Thinking about how much I have to do over the next 23 days and choosing to do none of it because it's raining and I choose to be lazy instead. Getting absolutely nothing done for days. Abandoning any and all responsibilities. Slowly but surely losing my mind.
On the other hand, perhaps it's time for the sun to rear its beautiful head and come back out to play for awhile. Because I'm afraid that I just might turn into a vegetable if it doesn't.
