The travel bug bit me again, and if you follow me on Instagram (@sammellaaa), you probably know that I spent Friday through Monday in one of my favorite cities in the U.S.: Chicago!
The weekend was complete with tons of drinks, tons of food, and tons of new experiences. We stayed with one of my close friends, Annalise, and hit the ground running from the second we put our bags down. Actually, it feels like I've been "running" until this very moment. On my couch. Dead.
We were supposed to stay in the city until Tuesday, but Frontier Airlines did a great job messing up our flights in giving us a five hour layover in Denver. Instead, we decided to make the best out of a rough situation: we flew back to Denver a day early and spent the night in a new city! What started out as an inconvenience turned into one of our favorite parts of the trip. I can't wait to tell you all about it.
For now, I plan on sleeping until my (absolutely necessary) double at work tomorrow. As much as I absolutely love traveling, there's nothing better than coming home to my pup and my bed. XO
